Baby Jogger Parent Console - Black

This thing is a joke and is way too expensive for what it is, but you need to have it most likely!

I bought this in March of 2022 and have been using it since April. The snaps come undone very easily, I thought this would be better than a velcro console but it comes undone just as easily. There has been numerous times we're it has just come undone randomly and all of our belongings have fallen out. It also hangs too low on the city select 2, when the seat is facing me it is in my baby's way and she is constantly kicking it. Overall pretty disappointed.

I bought the parent console 4 months ago and immediately I noticed that it doesn't work with the handle of the stroller. It ends up being too loose or way too tight which causes the snaps to come undone. The insulated cup holder is so tight you can only use a reusable water bottle or coffee cup in it. Anything disposable would be crushed inside the holder. I cannot count how many times I have spilled coffee when using this console. I finally gave up using it. It was a complete waster of money.

Great for parents! Fast shipping! Good for beverages and personal items!

Great product to hold all of our stuff when we walk. One more of caution, if you have added a cup holder this bag will now sit squarely. Not a dealbreaker but something to know.

We bought it with the stroller and after summer trip all black color faded to a kind od reddish brown? It looks terrible. Moreover straps are now not so sticky to each other and now you can easily see stiches. Really not fair for such price.

Great storage with many different spaces. It is water resistant which is nice for our rainy weather. Keeps me well organized while on our jog/walk

I followed the instructions and this console doesn't stay up toward the handlebars on the city select lux once you put anything with weight in it (like a bottle of water and phone). I purchased it for easy accessibility to my belongings while walking and it doesn't provide that at all.

There is no way to attach the straps in a secure manner due to the position of the snaps. The console constantly falls down rendering it useless.

This does not work well for drinks. There is not enough clearance space between the hand bar and the console to slide drinks in and out and they jostle so much that they spill everywhere.

So here's the dealio: I actually really want to love this accessory. We have the City Select Lux and love going on walks with our little guy.
LOVE:
- I love that the water bottle slot has a tight elastic ring to hold the bottle in place so it doesn't fall out
- I love that the center compartment has a magnetic closing function
- i love that it is a simple snap on

DONT LOVE enough to lower the rating:
- IT SLIDES. Even when properly snapped, the accessory often slides and shimmies down the stroller handle and it actually drives me crazy. There needs to be some sort of stopper or something because this flaw is enough to make a stressed out new mom flip her lid in the middle of the park. I plan on jimmying some sort of duct tape barricade that it can't slide past for now.

We had other consoles that didn't work too well, we thought let's get the one made for the stroller. WRONG! Complete waste of money. The console doesn't stay put. It becomes very difficult to move the positions of the stroller seat with this attachment. The snaps keep unsnapping, the console moves all over the place. Not worth the investment. Would have expected something better from such a good stroller.

Great product. The only knock is that it tends to slide down the handle a lot.

Received as a gift, used twice. The first time we put a standard water bottle in and the snaps kept on coming off. We reviewed the instructions and were using correctly. The second time after coming home, we noticed that one of the flaps was un-sewn from the rest of the console (See photos). We have not used it since the snaps keep coming off. It's too bad because we love our GT2 stroller - we take it everywhere! But we're left with carrying our belongings or taking a bag.

The design places the caddy in an awkward position. This might just be me not realizing how to properly attach it.

This parent console does not fit the double stroller nicely. It hangs awkwardly on the double. I am so disappointed in this product and it being advertised as compatible with the City Mini GT2 Double.

This is the FOURTH parent console I've tried for our City Select Lux. I figured in going with the Baby Jogger brand (and advertised by the company as compatible), this would finally be the one. NOPE!!!! The snaps do not work unless the handle bar is extended, which is unfortunate for me being 5'2" and only using the stroller with the handle bar fully in. Even when extended, the snaps are incredibly difficult, the positioning is just not right for the City Select Lux. They very often come undone when you put a drink in. Additionally, the insulated cup holder is a joke. You can't even fit a can of soda in it, let alone a larger water bottle. Very disappointed.

It's really convenient to have a holster for your phone, a bottle, and a water bottle. Just note, this really only has one cup holder. The holder pictured on the left side is smaller and better suited for a bottle. Still, this was a great purchase. It added a lot of functionality to our stroller.

We have used this about 6 months with my son in the infant carrier but once we started using the seat the parent console slides right down. Every time I pull it back up to adjust the snaps unbutton. Very inconvenient.

Very good product and worth to buy and recommended to buy.

It's strong and durable. It feels sturdy connected to the stroller. (Our last console was flimsy.). We haven't folded the stroller yet but it seems like the cover will keep our items safe. I wish it had more of a closure though.
There is a cup holder which we've used for a baby bottle and a beer bottle! Fun happy hour walks!
I definitely recommend this as it is specifically made for baby jogger brand strollers.

We bought this for our city select lux after being told it's compatible however it constantly slides down the handlebar and is clearly not compatible. I'm constantly pulling it up every time we use it. Unfortunately it was a complete waste of money.

My husband was putting this on our stroller and readjusted it one time and the snap came completely undone. It made a bigger hole too so I can't fix it.

Great add on accessory, holds drinks and love the closeable flap to hold wallets and cell phones.

The new design is horrendous. The console now has snaps everywhere and none of them seem to hold. I have had multiple times where water and or coffee alone in the console will cause the snaps to come undone. This product was a complete waste of money.

I have the city select lux and the hadles slide of the rails. The buttons don't work properly. They unsnap eveytime we put a drink or water bottle. It was only ones that this was used. I have not used it anymore do to the buttons snapping and getting drinks spilled.

I bought the old parent console, its good but i like the version so much better!
